In the present episode, the program has talked about the celebration of Dashain. Regardless of the effects of the strike and blockade, the valley dwellers are busy in celebrating the festive season magnificently. Marking the longest festival of Hindus, most of the people are engaged in shopping. The presenter has marked that the nearing festival, Dashain is celebrated from Aswin Shukla Pratipada and in the first day of the bright half of the lunar calendar, in the month of Ashwin. On this day, the Kalasha is filled with holy water and then it is covered with the cow dung and then the barley seeds are sewed. Then the Kalasha is put in the center of a rectangular sand block. The remaining bed of sand is also seeded with grains. The day is thus called as the formal starting of Dashain. But the presenter has stated that the festival this year is celebrated with some unwished period.
