European Union (EU) have stressed that they do not hold any negative attitude towards Nepal's new constitution. During the courtesy meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Thapa at the Foreign Affairs Ministry today, the envoys said that EU's position on the new charter remains unchanced from the official stand the European body took by welcoming the statute following its promulgation in September 20. Thapa's press advisor, Mohan Shrestha told Setopati that EU was not negative towards Nepal's constitution. He added that the meeting was merely a courtesy call.
