This is the story of a village guy who came to Kathmandu and worked as a porter. His wife and daughters were in village. He works for all day and just earns 200-300 but that day he earned 500 just in one work so he was very happy. The next day he planned not to work and go buy new clothes for him but it was expensive. He later thinks of buying a new pair of shoe because it was all torn up but it was even more expensive that clothes.
Then he went to buy a new watch but he looks at the watches and feels that he can’t afford it and then went to buy a new cap ‘Dhaka Topi’ but even he can’t afford it. He was so happy that he earned 500 so easily but he found that it wasn’t much for him so he planned to send it to village so that it would be useful for his family. He then plans to go eat because he was tired and dizzy but unfortunately he was hit by a taxi and he d!^ed. The people took him and did his cremation ceremony with those 500 rupees because he was really happy about earning that amount and in hope for him to rest in peace.
The movie is dedicated to all those Sherpa’s who has lost their life during the Everest avalanche 18-April-2014 and the its Veemsen Lama’s movie.
