Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government will soon table the Bill Related to Reconstruction in the parliament in order to expedite reconstruction works.
PM Oli said this while talking to delegations of international community in Nepal. Delegation of European Union, the French ambassador to Nepal, representatives of World Bank and the UK Department for International Development (DFID) jointly called on the PM at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar today.
Ambassador of EU to Nepal Rensje Teerink told journalists after the meeting that the delegation held discussions with PM Oli on developmental support, humanitarian support, reconstruction projects and formation of the reconstruction authority, among other issues.
Ambassador Teerink added that the delegation drew the PM’s attention on ensuring humanitarian support to the quake victims and intensifying the reconstruction works before winter season takes its grip. RSS
