“Bad Movie Nite!” is held on the first Saturday of every month. It was created by Scott Hammond in Ohio. He started the event and sends the movies out to a select amount of theaters in the country, The Lyric being one of them.
He adds commercials and clips from other movies to the film, adding about 20 minutes to the movie’s runtime. The films are usually from the 1980s and 1990s because that’s when Hammond grew up and began developing a passion for movies.
