KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari today attended a special function at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel, organised by the Nepal Army to mark the Nepal Army Day coinciding with the Mahashivaratri.On the occasion, President Bhandari garlanded the ‘Brave Soldier’ monument at Tudinkhel and received the guard of honours. President Bhandari is the Supreme Commander of the NA.The annual Free-Fall Jump Show was also organised on the occasion. President Bhandari awarded prizes to the winners of Free-Fall Jump Show.On the occasion, a banner was displayed from a helicopter and the NA presented various parades including Nisan, Mahashivaratri Badhain as well as march-past and other various programmes related to the NA.
