Languages (JKAACL) and Radio Kashmir Jammu (RKJ) jointly in a function Jharokha-13 felicitated and honoured S.S Anand Lehar, a prominent Urdu Writer and Senior Advocate. Lehar was honoured with a Shawl and Citation by D.C Raina, Advocate General, J and K, Dr. Aziz Hajini, Secretary, Cultural Academy, Jammu, V.K Sambyal, Station Director RKJ and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary JKAACL. In the function life history of S. S. Anand Lehar and his work in the field of art, culture and languages was highlighted and paper was read by Raj Kumar Chandan. A few days back Lehar was honoured by getting the Best Book Award on the Book Urdu Novel ‘Namdev’. S.S Anand Lehar had also translated and compiled the Constitution of J and K in Urdu which is the real official language of the State. He has started a project of preparing Casettes on Dil Ki Gita, ie. Gita written by Khawaza Dil Mohd and first audio cassette has been released and Video cassette is being released.
