Preparations completed for SAARC Submit

The preparations for the 37th Session of the South Asian Association Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Council of Ministers to be held in Pokhara from Monday have been completed, said Shankar Prasad Koirala, the Regional Administrator of the Western Regional Administration Office.

Likewise, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police Mingmar Lama also said that the entire security provisions for the foreign ministerial-level meeting have been arranged.

Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kaski, Hari Prasad Mainali, said that security provisions have been made prepared if the distinguished guests attending the mini-SAARC summit wished to visit tourist sites in the lake city.

Likewise, a dummy preparation of the travel route of the distinguished guests from Pokhara Airport to Pokhara Grand Hotel, the venue of the meeting, was exercised this morning.

Regional Administrator Koirala and other high-level officials of the security bodies were present on the occasion.
